China blocked Yeeyan.com on Dec 1
On December 1 2009, Yeeyan.com was forced to stop the web service.
Yeeyan.com is the first Open and Fully Community-based translate platform in China, which startup in 2006.
It is determined to discover, translate, read the essence of the Internet other than Chinese, to create more value for the Chinese Internet.
During the three years, members of Yeeyan.com translated thousands of excellent articles and news into Chinese, to spread knowledge and informations. Because of this, Yeeyan.com has made such a success and received a lot of reader’s favorite.
However, on Dec 1 2009, Yeeyan.com was informed that some translations have violated state laws, all servers has to be shutdown to adjust relevant content.
What’s a hell about that? I don’t think Yeeyan.com did anything wrong to be such a victim of political censorship of China government.
According to reliable sources, the server of Yeeyan.com is being moved to the United States to avoid more troubles.
